Caravan Trading Company announces the rollout of
its new state of the art frozen dough line.
Union City, CA - MARCH 2007.
The company's new
lamination line was installed in early January and became
operational February 15th. The new line has the capability to
produce over 30 variations of laminated products utilizing puff,
croissant, Danish, and other unique dough formulations.
The system was designed and built by a leader in the lamination
manufacturing industry, to Caravan's specifications and took
over 8 months to complete.
The line is totally automated and incorporates an inline freezing
system to help assure the utmost in product quality and consistency.
In addition to running frozen dough, the system also has the
capability to automatically pan off finished items that can then be
proofed and baked in Caravan's modern bakery operation.
